Hit and Run "Attended" in Washington State (RCW 46.52.020)
This is a crime that involves hitting a vehicle where there is either a driver or an occupant who is not injured and then leaving the scene. If you are a driver who is involved in an accident with an occupied vehicle, you must stop and provide your name, address, insurance company, insurance policy number, vehicle license number, and driver's license. If you leave the scene without providing this information and are later found, a charge of Hit and Run "Attended" will almost certainly be filed. The State has 2 years from the date of the incident to file charges.
The state must prove that you were aware of the accident. It is not necessary that you know or were aware that the other vehicle was occupied, even though this fact is what elevates the charge from a misdemeanor to a gross misdemeanor. If convicted of this section, your license will be revoked for a period of at least one year.

I received your notice indicating that you and your team had successfully challenged my infraction in court. You made what could have been a painful and expensive experience a complete non-issue where I was able to conduct my life without any form of interruption. I will continue - without hesitation - to recommend you as the only champion of drivers at odds with the courts in Washington State. Best regards Jon
Brad B. - Kent, WA Jeannie Mucklestone is flat-out the best period. I have used Jeannie on many occasions over the past few years and her record is PERFECT in defending me. Her record in defending me, and personal friends i have recommended to her, is 14-0. I just received another favorable verdict letter from her today and in looking back in my file, her representation fee has not increased since the first time I hired her in November 2001! In one of my speeding ticket cases, she showed up for the case, but requested a new court date so that she might get a more favorable judge to hea the case. Most people I'm sure would have kept the original date and i would have been stuck with the verdict that was handed down. Jeannie actually took the time to go back to court a second time on my behalf and it didnt cost me anything additional. She goes above and beyond and I could not be more pleased with her services. Thank you Jeannie (aka "The Impenatrable Shield") Brad B.
Sean L. - Maple Valley, WA I've used Jeannie's services for 4 traffic tickets over the past 12 months and all infractions were dismissed due to her hard work and diligence. Jeannie's definately the best and I will use her services whenever called for. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Lanny R. - Kirkland, WA Jeannie P. Mucklestone is fantastic! She had 2 tickets that my son received - 1 for speeding; 1 for an illegal turn on red - successfully dismissed! We simply gave her the info she needed, paid her fee and she did the rest! Two days after each court date we received a letter from her informing us that the ticket was dismissed. Got a ticket? Call Jeannie!!!
Gracian C. - Gig Harbor, WA Jeannie Mucklestone is incredible! I personally am on thin ice with my employer as far as citations go and got incredible service from Jeannie. Her response time was awesome especially on a weekend!!! I am so thankful... I WOULD RECOMMEND HER FOR ANYONE DEALING WITH DRIVING VIOLATIONS!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
ANDREW C. - Seattle, WA Jeannie's law firm took care of a speeding ticket written by the WSP, north of Everett, on I-5. I was chosen out of a crowd, profiled, then written a ticket, for speeding. I have a CDL, and this is a major infraction for me. Her firm kept me informed of the process and called me immediately when the charges were dismissed. I felt confident throughout the process, but still, it is a crap shoot, so you have to have confidence in your choice of lawyers. Jeannie's firm gave me total confidence in their capabilities and did what they say that could do: protect me from the lawlessness of the WSP and their indiscriminate abuse of power on the highways. I was picked out of a crowd of vehicles and chosen to be the victim by my address on my license. Before the officer even told me of my infraction, he had run my plates and gotten my driving record and knew of my address and driving record and the fact that I had a CDL. Given the distance from the court, it was statistically a better ticket to write. Don't ever let the law push you around. Get an attorney and protect yourself, your insurance and your driving record.
