Hit and Run "Attended" in Washington State (RCW 46.52.020)
This is a crime that involves hitting a vehicle where there is either a driver or an occupant who is not injured and then leaving the scene. If you are a driver who is involved in an accident with an occupied vehicle, you must stop and provide your name, address, insurance company, insurance policy number, vehicle license number, and driver's license. If you leave the scene without providing this information and are later found, a charge of Hit and Run "Attended" will almost certainly be filed. The State has 2 years from the date of the incident to file charges.
The state must prove that you were aware of the accident. It is not necessary that you know or were aware that the other vehicle was occupied, even though this fact is what elevates the charge from a misdemeanor to a gross misdemeanor. If convicted of this section, your license will be revoked for a period of at least one year.

Daniel I. - Seattle, WA I really do not wish to use your service too often but, when needed, I would not trust anyone else. I am fairly skeptical of many things but Jeannie came highly recommended by a friend. My first experience using her services, I had received a speeding infraction a few days after a speed modification was posted close to my home. I sent my info via E-mail and posted payment via Pay-Pal. Couldn't be much easier. I questioned her office a few times and each time Jeannie herself responded clearly and promptly. Best of all, no days out of your own schedule appearing in court. Simply a notice of when hearing is scheduled, and a final letter with, in my case, a positive outcome of hearing. I have used her services again since, also with a positive outcome. Again, I don't wish to use these services often but, when needed, I am glad Jeannie is there to help!
Hi Jeannie, Just wanted to pass along a thank you for the wonderful service again for my youngest daughter! You and your firm have helped our family many times and we are very appreciative of the time and effort. The brand of high level professional service with a personal touch truly feels like the Nordstrom of legal services! Thank you again! Best regards, -John
R C. - Seattle, WA Jeannie just worked her courtroom magic and my ticket was dismissed. This is the second time that Jeannie has obtained a dismissal for me for a traffic ticket. BTW-I was tracking my recent hearing on the Seattle Municipal website. Jeannie appeared for six people on the day of my hearing. Five of the cases were DISMISSED and one case continued until later in the year. Pretty great track record!
Gracian C. - Gig Harbor, WA Jeannie Mucklestone is incredible! I personally am on thin ice with my employer as far as citations go and got incredible service from Jeannie. Her response time was awesome especially on a weekend!!! I am so thankful... I WOULD RECOMMEND HER FOR ANYONE DEALING WITH DRIVING VIOLATIONS!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Brad B. - Kent, WA Jeannie Mucklestone is flat-out the best period. I have used Jeannie on many occasions over the past few years and her record is PERFECT in defending me. Her record in defending me, and personal friends i have recommended to her, is 14-0. I just received another favorable verdict letter from her today and in looking back in my file, her representation fee has not increased since the first time I hired her in November 2001! In one of my speeding ticket cases, she showed up for the case, but requested a new court date so that she might get a more favorable judge to hea the case. Most people I'm sure would have kept the original date and i would have been stuck with the verdict that was handed down. Jeannie actually took the time to go back to court a second time on my behalf and it didnt cost me anything additional. She goes above and beyond and I could not be more pleased with her services. Thank you Jeannie (aka "The Impenatrable Shield") Brad B.
I just wanted to write you a brief email regarding the HIT & RUN/DUI/Negligent driving case that you recently represented me in.
I wanted to express my sincerest appreciation and gratitude for the work that you did while representing me. Not only did you help make a very stressful and concerning period of time less stressful and chaotic, you also helped offer me some peace of mind and reassurance throughout the course of the case that every minor detail was being taken care of and handled in the appropriate and necessary way. Perhaps more important, you and your talented and knowledgeable firm of attorneys helped achieve a very favorable outcome in the case that I did not even believe to be a possibility because of your work ethic, commitment to excellence, and dedication to your clients.
I am so fortunate and thankful to have been represented by you, and just wanted to let you know how appreciative I am of all the time and hard work you put in.
Thank you so much for everything, and I know that if I ever know of a friend or family member that finds themselves in a similar set of circumstances to the ones that I was facing, the first person I will refer them to will be you. Thanks again,
