Hit and Run "Attended" in Washington State (RCW 46.52.020)
This is a crime that involves hitting a vehicle where there is either a driver or an occupant who is not injured and then leaving the scene. If you are a driver who is involved in an accident with an occupied vehicle, you must stop and provide your name, address, insurance company, insurance policy number, vehicle license number, and driver's license. If you leave the scene without providing this information and are later found, a charge of Hit and Run "Attended" will almost certainly be filed. The State has 2 years from the date of the incident to file charges.
The state must prove that you were aware of the accident. It is not necessary that you know or were aware that the other vehicle was occupied, even though this fact is what elevates the charge from a misdemeanor to a gross misdemeanor. If convicted of this section, your license will be revoked for a period of at least one year.

Jeannie- I wanted write and thank you for representing me in my recent case. Aside from being satisfied with the outcome of my particular case; I wanted to convey my impressions regarding you and your professionalism. I work for the Nation's leading customer service retailer. Service is everything for this company. So I write from highly regarded level of service. I was very impressed with your service, timeliness, genuine care and initiative. It is refreshing to work with professionals that exemplify the qualities you posses. So thank you once again, it was a pleasure. Sincerely, Johnathan
David N. - Seattle, WA Jeannie and her crew deliver - i've had her and her staff defend a number of tickets for me - and they work their magic every time. totally worth the money versus paying the ticket, suffering the insurance company bump in your premiums. she came highly recommended and i now know why. she even defended me in Lewis county - minding my own business, excited to be going skiing at white pass for a change - nailed by the trooper trap on the way up. what a scam. kinda like a red light camera only different. just raising money on the backs of the population one way or another. be careful if you go up there... i probably won't again. thanks to washington's finest. maybe they just want less of us up there. seems kinda silly to chase potential "tourist" revenue away with nonsense like that. anyhow - jeannie rocks. hire her.
E W. - Seattle, WA I first had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie back in 2005. I watched as she reduced 3 "impossibly hopeless" speeding tickets to minor non-moving infractions. Her rapport with the court was impressive and I logged in the back of my mind that if I needed the services of a traffic lawyer, she would be my first call. Fast forward to earlier this year, 2010. I was given a serious moving violation for a trivial issue in the city of Redmond and immediately called Jeannie. Her offices kept me up to date on the trial process and they were able to reduce the infraction from one that would have negatively affected my record and insurance to something with no long-term implications. This also saved me from taking numerous days off from work to appear in court; well worth her fees alone. All in all, great experience and I would recommend Jeannie's law services to anyone, anytime in WA. Thanks Jeannie!
John M. - Seattle, WA Outstanding. Highest possible recommendation. Jeannie Mucklestone took care of my speeding ticket efficiently and with a great outcome: dismissed.

Jeannie and her team did a excellent job .... they saved my bacon. They were professional and kept me 100% informed. It was a pleasure considering the circumstances to have my representation by Jeannie and her team. I would recommend them 1000% to anyone needing legal help with the State and DOL. Not once did they make me feel like I had done something stupid or like a criminal. -Bill
R C. - Seattle, WA Jeannie just worked her courtroom magic and my ticket was dismissed. This is the second time that Jeannie has obtained a dismissal for me for a traffic ticket. BTW-I was tracking my recent hearing on the Seattle Municipal website. Jeannie appeared for six people on the day of my hearing. Five of the cases were DISMISSED and one case continued until later in the year. Pretty great track record!
